Description
At the start of the game, the entire grid is obscured by a black-and-white photographic negative effect. Players click on a block to “drop developer fluid” onto it; this action causes the selected block—along with its immediate neighbors in the four cardinal directions (forming a cross shape)—to “develop” and reveal their true colors. The objective is to restore the entire grid to its correct colors using a limited supply of developer fluid drops. No new blocks are generated during the development process; the goal for clearing each level is to achieve a perfect, full-grid reveal. The core strategy involves using the fewest possible clicks to cover the largest possible area—a creative variation on the classic “Lights Out” puzzle mechanic. The game features 160 levels; in later stages, the grids expand in size, and “stubborn stains”—which require multiple clicks to remove—begin to appear.
